Mark Corbishley is the CEO and a founding shareholder of Blend Property Group. He leads the group’s investment, development, and asset management strategy, with a focus on value-driven investment and innovative development.
He holds an Honours degree in Finance and a Master’s in Property Studies, bringing a strong analytical foundation to his leadership. With over 20 years of industry experience, Mark is known for his pragmatic approach, deep market insight, and track record of delivering high-performing real estate assets.

Hashmat Upadhey is the Managing Director of Blend Property Management and a founding shareholder of Blend Property Group. With over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate, he leads the group’s property management and finance operations across a national portfolio of office, industrial, and retail assets.
Hashmat oversees all aspects of property management, from collections and budgeting to facilities and tenant management, ensuring operational excellence and long-term returns.
Following the completion of his articles at Arthur Andersen, Jonathan co-founded Stratvest in 1995 alongside Michael Mendelowitz.
African Bank acquired a 50% stake in Stratvest, which subsequently led to the establishment of Nisela Growth Investments.
Jonathan took on an executive role at African Bank Limited and served as the joint CEO of Nisela Growth Investments until 2002. He later acquired and expanded the group of companies that, in 2007, formed the basis of Transaction Capital. Jonathan was appointed as an executive director in June 2010.
Upon the completion of his articles at Deloitte & Touche, Mr. Michael co-founded Stratvest in 1995 alongside Mr. Jonathan Jawno.
African Bank acquired a 50% stake in Stratvest in the nineties, which subsequently led to the establishment of Nisela Growth Investments.
He took on an executive role at African Bank Limited and served as the joint CEO of Nisela Growth Investments until 2002. He later acquired and expanded the group of companies that, in 2007, formed the basis of Transaction Capital. In December 2011, Mr. Michael was appointed as an executive director.
Roberto founded Miners Credit Guarantee in 1991 to provide credit card-type facilities to mineworkers. In 1998, Nisela Growth Investments (part of African Bank) acquired a 50% shareholding in Miners Credit Guarantee.
Shortly thereafter, Roberto assumed an executive role at African Bank Limited and was subsequently responsible for establishing, acquiring and operating several of the businesses owned by African Bank.
After selling his remaining shares in Miners Credit Guarantee to African Bank in 2003, he partnered with Jonathan Jawno and Michael Mendelowitz to acquire and grow the group of companies that in 2007 became the foundation of Transaction Capital.
